Organisational Structure

The structure of the EAS at national level:

• the EAS Assembly
• It is the highest EAS body and consists of delegates from local organizations and collective members; it approves statutes, principles and priorities and elects members of the EAS General Board
• the EAS General Board
• It is the statutory body of the EAS that represents the EAS and is entitled to act on behalf of the EAS in all matters; the President of the EAS is elected from and by members of the General Board

The Advisory body of the EAS General Board is: 

• Presidium of the General Board 
• the EAS President
• The President is the EAS representative who represents the EAS by defending its interests
• Committee of Supervisors
• It supervises financial management of the General Board
• The EAS General Secretary
• The General Secretary is elected by the General Board; he is authorized to perform on behalf of the EAS in matters connected with EAS activities arrangements 

The EAS General Board has 19 members. The Committee of Supervisors consists of 3 members.

The relationship between the EAS General Board as the highest executive and statutory body of the EAS and its local organizations and collective EAS members respects the principle of constructive communication and acceptance of mutual recommendations.
